Question of Sport Quiz - Saturday 10th November

The quiz starts at 7.30pm on Saturday 10th November 2012.

Enter as a team (of up to 6) or sign up individually and we’ll put you together with others to form a team.

All members welcome, plus family and friends.

Cost £6 per person for food - the bar will be open all night.

AGM - Oadby (Granville) Tennis Club Ltd

The AGM will be taking place on Wednesday 31st October 2012 at 8pm in the clubhouse.

Review the year of 2012 and approve the financial statements for the year ending June 2012.

Elect committee for 2013 and elect the team captains for 2013.

It is also a chance for members to raise concerns, make proposals and ask questions in a public forum.

Oadby 1 v LFE 1 to decide the final place in next summers Premier League.

LFE have kindly conceded home advantage. The bar will be open all afternoon. We expect a high standard of tennis as well as a good crowd supporting both teams - so come down and watch, it will be a good afternoon.

Junior Summer Camp 2012

A summer camp is being run for junior members of the club on the following dates:

Monday 20th August

Wednesday 22nd August

Friday 24th August

Each session runs from 9am-3pm and is available for all juniors aged 4-18yrs.

Junior Tournament 2012

The club is holding a junior tournament between Saturday 30th June and Sunday 15th July. The tournament is open to all junior members of the club with categories ranging from 10&U - 18&U boys and girls.

If you would like to take part in the tournament please complete an entry form and return to George Milne or Hassan Khan at the club.

The closing date for entries is Monday 18th June at 6pm.

Sportivate - FREE Tennis Coaching

Oadby Tennis Club are pleased to be able to offer 8 weeks ofFREE tennis coaching for 14-25 year olds. All standards are welcome and will be taking place at the club. The first session takes place on Saturday 9th June at 12.30pm.

Withers Intersport are moving...

Withers Intersport are moving to Carts Lane in Leicester City Centre on June 6th. They are moving to larger premises that will be a ‘stones throw’ from The Highcross Shopping Centre AND will boast an in-store hitting wall for racket players to try out rackets before purchasing. They will be one of only a few stores in the UK that offer this facility.

Business as usual up until June 2nd though!
