Ratings tournament 17- 21 February
As mentioned in previous updates, we are holding our usual Ratings tournament next week. All 6 courts will be in use most of the week from 9.30am until 6pm with the exception of Tuesday/Thursday when 4 courts will be free for the usual mix in until 11.30am (then 3 until 12 noon).
We have, as usual, arranged for courts to be at available at Carisbrooke during the week (Hassan has arranged this with their coach Jack Simpson). You no longer need to pick up a card, but please e-mail me to let me know when you intend to play so we are aware of how many 4s are there at any one time.
It is possible that 2 courts will be free at the club on Monday afternoon. If you usually play at this time, please e-mail me and I'll update you when I know re this availability.
American Tournament
The March tournament will be on Wednesday 5th March 6.45pm. Usual arrangements and sign up, please.
A Question of Sport Quiz
We are now holding this on Saturday March 22nd as we had to cancel last weekend. Teams of up to 6 (or sign up individually/pairs and we can put you in a team). All family/friends welcome. You don't need an in-depth knowledge of sport at all and there will also be some skills challenges ! Practise balancing a tennis ball on the ege of your racquet !!
