This is a reminder that to be eligible for the 2015 BTM Wimbledon Ballot you will need to opt in by 31st January 2015. To opt in is easy and you can do this by logging into the members area on the British Tennis website. As your clubs ticket allocation will be based on the number of members who have opted in we are asking that even if you do not necessary want tickets you still opt in as this will increase the chances of others members who are interested in attending the Championships receiving tickets.

GUIDE TO WIMBLEDON BALLOT OPT IN
Here is a simple guide to signing up – please take a few minutes before the deadline of Jan 31st to OPT IN.
Why do we need to opt in?
The LTA are trying to make sure that the Wimbledon Tickets they allocate on behalf of the All England Lawn Tennis Club are used by tennis club members. In order to do this, they have developed a scheme whereby you as a British Tennis Member (BTM) need to express an interest in taking part in your Club’s Wimbledon ballotby OPTING IN. This will also help your Club acquire as many tickets as possible for allocation to their members via the ballot. You will not be eligible for the Club ballot/draw if you have not Opted In on the LTA website in the BTM section.
How do we Opt In?
A. Have your BTM number, user name and password to hand- then go to www.LTA.org.uk and click on the “Log in” tab at the top of the Home page on the far right. Enter your user name and password and this will then take you to the Members Home Page.On the right hand side is the section OPT IN OR OUT OF THE WIMBLEDON BALLOT. Click on this and then under the Wimbledon Ballot section tick the box OPT IN and Save Changes.
Whilst on this page, please also look at right hand side and check:
MY DETAILS – check that your email address is current
MY TENNIS VENUES – make sure you are signed up to your current Club
You will receive an email almost immediately to say you have Opted In - Congratulations
B. If you don’t know your BTM number, user name or log in details try one of the following:
a) If you have a recent email from British Tennis/BTM you will find your BTM number and user name at the very top in small print. If you know your password then please follow instructions in A above.
b) If you cannot remember your password or BTM number, etc. then please ring the LTA Hub number 020 8487 7000 – be patient please and hold on, they will get to you.Opening hours are Mon – Fri 9am-5pm.
They will need your name, date of birth and postcode. You can also ask for other members of your family. They will let you know your BTM number, user name and can also reset your password so that you can then log onto the website and OPT IN. OR ask them to OPT you in as you are on the Phone.
